Where to Place Google Adsense Ads for Maximum Earnings

Google itself has given a heat map for the best place for ads for maximum earnings, here is the screen shot -
The colors fade from dark orange which shows strongest performance to light yellow which shows weakest performance. The maximum earning area for Adsense is near the primary post title and content area. You must place your Adsense ads just below the title of the post and after the ads your post content should appear. But place a small title as “Advertisements” or “Sponsors” as shown in the below screenshot -
Here are some of the additional tips for maximum earnings from Adsense:
- Always choose your ads type as both “text and image ads”.
- Use standard units only – 328×280, 300×250, 160×600, 728×60.
- Don’t place ads at bottom of the page, place your ads on upper side of your website.
- Choose ads background colors similar (matching) to your website background (usually white).
- Make use of Google search ads.
- Use 3 ad units and additional 3 link units and place it properly.
- Use 728×15 link unit just below the website menu (which don’t has drop-down sub menu).
